Dear Carmen,

Thanks so much for the personal attention and care you have shown us during the adoption process of our darling Sapphire!  We have so much appreciated your help with every last detail in getting her to Montana safely, especially with the airline switch.  Sorry about the extra work that caused for you.

Sapphire is already a beloved member of our family and so good with our 2 year old daughter, Dylan, and our 3 year old son, Campbell.  Both are delighted with her and love to have her chase them around!  However, she is definitely still a "mommy's girl" since she was my Mother's Day present.   Sapphire loves our other dog, Kona, who took a day or two to get used to her and now they are the great friends.  They even give each other "kisses" and sometimes fall asleep curled up together!  Sapphire truly has the most wonderful personality - engaging, playful, sweet, ladylike, smart, cute, endearing, affectionate, mischievous, and especially cuddly.

Little "Sapphie" is so much fun to bring along on mundane tasks like grocery shopping.  I tuck her into my sweatshirt and try not to get too much attention :) - she is just too cute for people to resist!  I am definitely glad that I arranged for some extra help her first few days here to devote some extra time with her - it really helped with getting her acclimated to her new environment.  She is even catching on with her paper-training in the first week!  She's had some accidents and not always hit the paper, but in the right vicinity (our master bathroom).

Again, our family are so thrilled with our new little lady. We are so thankful for the help and advice you have given us and look forward to keeping in touch with you so we can let you know how she is doing in the future.  We love our baby girl so much!!!

Sincerely,

Dawn Hunter and Family (Chris, Campbell, Dylan, & Kona)

Cindy & Carmen, you're welcome to use my email as a reference contact.

I am so pleased with my little iggy, Gus.  When I picked him up from Carmen and Cindy, he was immaculate, from his teeth to the inside of his ears to his paw pads.  He has been a wonderful pet.  He is obedient (with gentle patience) and incredibly gentle.  He is laid-back and calm, although he has a fabulous energy source during playtime.  I think his gallop is one of the most beautiful sites on earth--it's like a prancing pony.  People comment on his spritely little prance.

Gus is an outstanding source of compliments.  People everywhere want to cuddle him, hold him, and find out what breed of dog he is.  He is remarkably well-behaved and sweet-natured, making him a favorite with the general public.  At TWO different pet stores and a laundrymat, I thought the cashiers were never going to let me have him back!  He is so beautiful, such a pedigree.  He is certainly a fine purebred.

My favorite quality of iggies is their undying affection.  Gus loves to lay on me, give me kisses, and snuggle.  He is the ultimate love-dog!  I think iggies are probably the best breed around for anyone who can provide gentle care (no rough kids or dogs).  Mine is so well-mannered.  You can really tell that he had a happy home life at Spring Country Kennels.

Cindy and Carmen have been phenomenal to work with: answering questions, providing photos of Gus' parents, and sending home a sweet "starter pack" for little Gus with a blankie, chew toy, and dog food.  Since Gus was microchipped, as are all their dogs, I have extra peace of mind (although he loves to stay under my feet!).

If you want to purchase an iggy, you have come to the right site!  The photos are highly accurate and regularly updated to ensure the dog that you get is what you are expecting!  Because the kennel has outdoor and indoor quarters, the dogs don't become confined and hyper.  The result is beautiful: well-mannered, gorgeous little pups.

I think one of the most stunning wonders of the whole earth is the wiggly iggy tail.  It surpasses even the most incredible landscapes in beauty and is one of the most comforting things I've ever seen.  That probably sounds ridiculous--but it's true!  Don't diss the awesome iggy wiggly tail until you have seen it for yourself!

One last word to the wise--buy your iggy fast!  They are too gorgeous to last long!  I'm glad I didn't wait another hour to pay for my Gus because he might have become somebody else's dog!!!

Hey there Cindy!!

Remember Redwing's Female??  Well, our little Gabby is quite the personality.  We love her so much.  Here she is pictured at our summer home in Lake Havasu on the boat.  This was her first experience near the lake so we had a life vest on her.  As it turns out she didn't mind the vest at all and was quite the boater all day.  She's still feisty and has become quite the morning 'talker'.  She and I are very close, but her special buddy is Grace, our Golden Retriever, who is 2 months younger than Gabby.  They bring so much joy to our home.
Thank you for filling our home again with love - she's perfect!!

Hi Carmen,

We got the little guy this morning! He had a good flight and even made it the vet today, everything checked out great.  He has been a bundle of energy since we got home but a nap will be coming I'm sure. Thanks again for all the help in getting the little guy to our family.  We will sign the contract and mail it shortly.  Talk to you soon.

Matt & Amanda

Hi Carmen & Cindy,

Here are some pictures of Dodger. He had so much fun at the 'puppy party' at our vet's office. He was a little scared of all the people at first but then he started playing with the other puppies. We have been been totally entranced by his personality. He sometimes sticks out his little tongue which is pretty funny. Plus he just wants to follow us everywhere and curl up with us when he's pooped out. We will be enrolling in puppy classes pretty soon so that he can learn his 'manners.' Thanks again for everything.

Hi Carmen,

It has taken me awhile but I wanted to send you a picture of Annie's Male 2.  His name is Gino and we love him!  He is such a great dog and has a wonderful temperment.  We could not be happier with our first puppy.  He is almost 4 months now and he is growing fast!  I never got a chance to ask you how big his parents were; everyone keeps telling us he his going to be on the larger end of the breed.  He is perfect!  He loves to play with our friend's two Italian Greyhounds; they are both seven so they don't have his energy!  Thank you so much for a wonderful addition to our family.  Well here are a few pictures.  Hope everything is well.

Sarah, Jon and Gino from Bloomington/Norml IL

They are doing wonderfully.  They are settled in and doing very well on potty training.  They slept all night and did not whimper, undoubtedly exhausted from the airplane ride.

Gracie definitely has a big personality and tries to boss around Henry our English Setter.  Lily is definitely more of a cuddler and a baby.

Thank you for everything and we will send pictures soon!

Carmen & Cindy,

A Christmas 'hello' from Miley & her new family!

Miley is a smart little girl! She's becoming very dependable with her litterbox. She really knows how to work the system too. She piddles a little, runs over for her 'potty treat', & returns to the box to piddle a little more. She will also enthusiastically 'sit' for Cheerios.

She has won over our Sheltie, Baxter. They spend lots of time playing chase & wrestling. We thought Baxter had become kind of an old-man dog, but with Miley in the house, he's like a puppy again (without the potty-training). When the old dog gets tired, Miley turns her attention to the cat.

Miley is silly, & affectionate, & we just adore her. I'm attaching a few pictures to show you what a beautiful girl she's becoming.

Hi Carmen
Just wanted to let you know that Giada went to the vet yesterday and checked out fine and got her first set of shots.  She is doing great and getting along very well with the other IG's.  She even decided to go swimming and jumped right in our pool!!
Thanks
Jen Beecher

I have been off of work since I got her so we could spend some quality time together.  Everything is great.  I just read the papers you sent yesterday.  I signed it and sent it back to you.  However, I didn't realize I needed to see a vet so soon.  I didn't even make it back to town before the 72 hours.  Not a problem though, I'm sure she is just perfect.  And I set up an appointment in two weeks for her to get a checkup.  She is doing great!!  She thinks she runs the house now and is doing very well at paper-training.  She is starting to enjoy going for walks, since she gets to play at the park in the grass (I think it reminds her of home).  Thanks again.  Also,  I have gotten sooo many compliments on her and have been passing along your website so maybe you'll get some more homes for your puppies.

Thanks again,

Megan and Lily :)

Hi Carmen...just wanted to thank you for making it so convenient to pick up our
little girl. My family loves her so much I hope they still bring her down to me
on Friday! She is doing great. Where Bentley is staying now she has another dog
to play with, a 6lb chihuahua/min pin mix. I guess its like the Kansas City
Speedway around there...they are chasing each other around. My family has sent
me numerous pictures and we are so happy with her. I scheduled the vet
consultation for Tuesday. When I called 2 weeks ago they didn't have anything
open on Monday. Will we still be okay with that time? I know the cut off is 72
hours but we couldn't fit her in with our preferred vet. Hope that's okay.

She did great on the car ride home...already went swimming in the pool while my
sister was holding her. She loved it!

Thank you again so much!

Please call or email anytime to check in on her.

Thanks,

Natalie and Brett

Hi Carmen,
We have gotten all settled in and both puppies have adjusted perfectly. My only worry is that they are going to hurt each other as rough as they play.
We are scheduled for the vet tomorrow and I will send their health inspection to you after we get back.
We have only had 2 little potty accidents so far but I am really amazed how good they are about going outside. Have they already had some pottty training?
We have named the Blues Male (Levi) and as of now we are still kind of debating the drues female but a couple of choices are (Kookie and Buttercup). I feel like they are my shadow because they both follow me everywhere I go. Layla is a little jealous and they have already claimed all her toys but she is getting better with them. In fact Levi is sitting on my lap right now while I am writing this e-mail. Thank you for two wonderful dogs that have already become part of our family. Everything went really smooth and we are very happy with our decision to get both of them. Here are a couple of photos as we have already taken about 75 of them just since yesterday. Once again, thank you and we will occasionally send pictures.

Take Care,

Dale

Hi Carmen,
We have not sent Levi's papers out yet because we want to send them both at the same time. They are both doing really well and are exceptional in going outside to potty. They are non-stop energy and Layla has finally started joining in on their fun. We have named the female Kookie and she is already only a few steps behind Layla in a full run! She is extremely fast. Levi is still a little clumsy but I think it is just because he is bigger but will probably be the fast one when he matures. We are really enjoying them both. Thank you for 2 wonderful dogs. We will send pictures on occasion. Take Care.

Hi Carmen,

We took our puppy to the vet yesterday, and everything is fine.  Since he likes to investigate everything like a little snoop, we've named him "Snoopy".  He is a delight!  Thanks so much

Mary

Hi Carmen!  I just wanted to check in with you and let you know Stewart is doing GREAT!  He is absolutely the sweetest little thing.  His very favorite thing to do is be ON me on the couch.  He already has his couch picked out and often runs to it and tries to get us to join him!

He's going to the bathroom outside a little more than 50% of the time, which is pretty good considering it's only been a week and it took a few days to get used to the big city!  He's definitely 'paper' trained though...which we didn't even mean to do....but he uses the puppy pads when he doesn't go outside.  He's very smart!

He seems in great spirits....I think perhaps he was exhausted and scared from his trip when he first got here...all he wanted to do was sleep.  But two days ago he started running and playing twice as much as when he first got here and he even barked!!!  It was VERY cute!

We love him soooooooooooooooo much.  He's already spoiled rotten but we don't care a bit.  All he has to do is look at us and we melt!

Thank you for everything!  I hope all is well with you!

-Jen

Carmen!  I was just thinking about you the other day and how we need to send more pictures!  Stewart is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo wonderful and happy and healthy and smart and adorable!!!  He is a celebrity in our building and the neighborhood.  We can't leave the house without at LEAST five people stopping us to meet him or say hi and I'm not exagerating!  Of course you can use us as a reference...any time!  I hope you are doing well!

Jen

Carmen,

We just got home from the airport and got settled a little bit.  Jorgio (roxies3) arrived just fine, although a little scared.  It may have been Brighton's tears of joy that scared him, but he is feeling comfortable now!!  He is the cutest, most handsome thing that Brighton has ever seen.  We couldn't be happier.  Thank you for all of the information you sent us.  We will make a vet appointment for him for after Christmas.  Just wanted to let you know that he has arrived safe and sound.  We will be in touch with you again after he settles in more.
Thanks again for a beautiful, adorable puppy,
Brighton

Carmen,

Good afternoon,
I just got back to work, from meeting Ellen and the airport. Rocco, his new
name, made it well. He is just as cute as in the pictures. Thanks again for
everything, we will get him to the vet soon and let you know how that went.
But, he has made it safely to Tennessee!

Ellen & Lyn

Carmen -
Seina has made it safe and sound, her plane was a little late, but she made it. She is very cute and tiny! I am use to Rocco's 16 lbs. We will keep you posted on her progress, i am not sure when Ellen was planning on taking her to the vet,  but it may be next week since this is a short week.

But thanks again. I have attached two pics of Rocco.

Hi Carmen!

Thank you for all that you've done to make this transition as smooth as possible. It is quite obvious that you've done this before! I am so excited to get him! I've wanted him for a long time.

Just let me know when the flight is finalized for either Thursday or Friday and give me a confirmation number and I'll take it from there! Thank you so much, Carmen. You have made this an easy and pleasurable experience!

Hi Carmen,

I've been thinking about you as well.  Carmine is doing great he was neutered on Friday and is doing well, the Vet called and said that we could come and pick him up that afternoon he
was doing that well. He weighs in at 8.5 lbs and is 12" tall, he is spoiled rotten and loves to sleep with us under the covers at night and sit on our laps whenever he can. He is so smart, we started him on the litter box training and he picked it up right away. For two months now we don't have to worry about him doing potty in the house. We also had a trainer come to the
house at 12 weeks old to work on our manners. He knows Leave It, Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Wait and how to walk on a leash, stills pulls a little, but we are working on that. We start our group Obedience training this Thursday should be a lot of fun. He is also very good with other dogs.  I hope all is well with you and oh how is his sister doing?

Kendra

Hi Carmen,

I just thought that I would drop you a line and send some of the pictures to you from Carmine's first birthday. He is doing very well and he is loved so much and not to mention spoiled. He is a good IGGY. I think about you all when I do Saint Louis turns I know that Carmine's parents are not too far away. I wanted to know if you had any pictures of his parents that you could send us, we wanted to see who he looks more like, his mother or Father. Thanks I hope all is well with you both.

Hi Carmen!  I just wanted to let you know Fifa is doing great and everyone who meets her falls in love with her immediately.  She is so playful and is the epitome of a lap dog.  She loves to lay down and cuddle after she plays.  She had her vet visit on Friday and she seems to be in perfect health.  I will send you an invoice from the vet and a signed copy of the contract for you this week.  Thank you for all of your help and thank you for taking care of our little girl.  I will have to send you some pictures soon.  Thanks again!!

Just thought I would let you know we made it back home with no problem.  Stopped twice to stretch our legs.  He "sang" some little tunes to protest being in his crate, but not for toooo long.  Thanks for meeting us...I'm glad to have him as part of our family.  Marseille loved to play with him once she realized what he was!  We'll send photos.  My son, Dan, thinks he needs a "regal" name!  We'll let you know when we decide.  Thanks again.

Dear Carmen,

Just wanted to send you a photo of Bijoux and Diana, a photo shoot I did in Black & White. She is a busy girl these days. Plays with Minnie (cat) and drags her by her ears. Runs around the yard and plays with Milou (her best friend- female doggy). She eats lemons and mangoes, loves to pittle inside and do her poops in the master bathroom. Her new hobby is to roll in poop and eat cat litter biscuits. She has us on our toes, we love to death! Thank you for your help, after Luigi’s departure to rainbow bridge she has filled an emptiness.
